Prior to co-founding A&A in 1957, Fred had been employed for several years as a machinist with Union Carbide - Texas City, Texas. Before joining A&A Machine as shop foreman in 1962, Charles served his apprenticeship under Mr. Heinemann at Union Carbide in Texas City, Texas. In 1970, Charles became a stockholder in the company. Alan started with A&A in 1978, working during summers. He joined the company full time in 1990 as a Machine Shop Coordinator, was promoted to Fab Shop Coord. in 1996, Fabrication Manager in 1999, General Manager in 2005, Vice-President in 2008 and President &CEO in 2009. His responsibilities include daily Management of the Manufacturing Facility and Staff. Alan works closely with the Corporate Accounting Manager to insure for the financial stability and integrity of A&A. After completing his apprenticeship and six years as a Machinist, David became the Machine Dept. Foreman in 1988 and was promoted to Department Manager in 2005. He is responsible for supervising all the staff in the daily activities of the Machine Dept. and the CNC dept. including job planning, material takeoffs, and coordination between Machine and Fabrication Dept.'s.CLOSE X

Steve joined the A&A team in 2009 after working several years in mission operations at NASA and project management software for the oil and gas industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Kelly’s HR experience dates back to 1995, where she began in staffing. She began working exclusively in HR in 2001. Kelly’s main focus is being a bridge of communication between the floor employees and management. She understands her customers are the employees and treats them with respect.

Jon is A&A’s Warehouse Coordinator and is responsible for all material handling and shipping/receiving at A&A. C. PATRICK HUTCHINS Account Representative / Sales
Patrick joined A&A in 1983 and served his apprenticeship through 1987. He spent the next 10 years as a machinist, developing skills in every area of the machine shop. In 1996 he became involved in sales, maintaining existing accounts. Patrick is now responsible for expanding A&A's territory through both new and existing customers.CLOSE X

Fito Joined A&A in 2002 after retiring from Union Carbide Corporation and Dow Chemical. His professional engineering background included extensive experience in the Chemical Manufacturing and Equipment Fabrication Industry with emphasis in manufacturing equipment quality assurance and reliability. His tenure as a professional engineer included assignments in Ponce, Puerto Rico, West Virginia Technical Center, UCC Institute Plant, and UCC Texas City Plant (a subsidiary of Dow Chemical Corporation) until departing for A&A.CLOSE X - DAN A. Dan is responsible for many aspects of the daily business at A&A. From quoting to assisting projects with order details, purchasing, customer liaison for questions concerning orders and contracts, and warehouse functions, he fills many roles. Gary has supervised the Computer Numerical Control Machine (CNC) Dept. since the first piece of equipment was purchased in 1975. Gary is an experienced programmer with countless hours spent designing parts to run on CAD/CAM. Charlie joined the staff at A&A in 2007. He serves as the Machine Department Coordinator. His responsibilities include the coordination of work flow through the machine department, overseeing the subcontracting of work to outside vendors, developing job plans, and dispatching A&A delivery drivers. He has been in the machining and service industry in the Houston area since 1978. Prior to joining A&A, Charlie’s job responsibilities included sales of electrical and mechanical equipment and numerous manager positions including oversight of customer service, warehouse and the entire plant.CLOSE X - DAVID BARRETTCNC Foreman
David began working at A&A as a helper in the Fabrication Dept. for the summer of 1984. David continued his education and returned to A&A in May of 1985 as a full time employee working in the Fabrication Dept. In 1987 David began working as an apprentice in A&A’s CNC department. PAUL KETCHUM Technical Sales and Proposals
Paul joined A&A in 2011 to carry out Technical Sales and Proposals.
He worked for A&A from 1975 thru 1981 as Project Coordinator in the fabrication of LDPE cooler and reactor projects.
Paul holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology (manufacturing) from The University of Texas, Tyler. With over 35 years experience in manufacturing Paul can assist you with your requirements from design thru fabrication.CLOSE X -
GERALD TRAHANMachine Department Supervisor
Gerald started his career with A&A as a manual machinist. Having 10 years of machining experience and 15 years prior management experience, Gerald is now the machine Dept. Supervisor. He oversees the day to day operation in the production of quality manufactured parts. Gerald’s motto is “If you work hard, you will achieve it”.CLOSE X -
TAYLOR NYQUIST Mechanical Engineer
Taylor completed an internship at A&A in 2006 before graduating in 2008 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Cessna Aircraft before joining A&A in 2010. He is primarily responsible for generating engineering drawings for many of the Fabrication projects.CLOSE X -

MERARI MEDINA Project Engineer
Merari Medina joined A&A Machine and Fabrication, LLC on June of 2012. Merari has 16 years experience in the in the Refinery and Petrochemical field. Over the years Merari has worn many hats and brings to the organization experience in field management, material management, project management, estimating and scheduling. Merari is in charge of overseeing our Low Density Poly Ethylene (LDPE) High Pressure Tubing product group.CLOSE X
